Great day on the Madison in the Winter! We have gone through this outfitter many times over the years, and always had a great experience. Every trip is different, and every guide brings a different bit of knowledge to your trip. I have gone from never having fly fish, to having great confidence went on the water. It has been a great bonding time with my son. On this trip, over Christmas break, we went on the Madison, a full day, with JD, the owner. We missed a handful, but ended up catching 22 fish! The scenery was great, the weather was cold and windy, with snow coming down the entire time. It made for a true Montana fishing experience.
